The Intelligence Bureau (IB) has officially announced the recruitment notification for the posts of Assistant Central Intelligence Officer Grade II/Tech (ACIO-II/Tech) in Computer Science & Information Technology and Electronics & Communication disciplines. This recruitment aims to fill a total of 258 vacancies across India under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.

Educational Qualification

   • Bachelor’s degree (B.E. / B.Tech) in any of the following disciplines from a recognized Government university/institute:

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 years as on 16th November 2025
• Maximum Age: 27 years as on 16th November 2025

Age Relaxation

• SC/ST: +5 years
• OBC: +3 years
• Departmental Candidates: Up to 40 years (with 3 years of regular service)
• Widows, Divorced, Judicially Separated Women: UR – 35 yrs, OBC – 38 yrs, SC/ST – 40 yrs
• Ex-Servicemen: As per Government rules
• Meritorious Sportspersons: Up to 5 years (as per DOP&AR O.M. No. 14015/1/76-Estt. (D), 4.8.1980)

Pay Scale / Salary

• Level 7 Pay Matrix: ₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400
