Eligibility Criteria

Engineering Graduate Apprentice:
Candidates must have completed a 4-year B.Tech/B.E. degree from any recognized university or board in the relevant engineering discipline.

Non-Engineering Graduate Apprentice:
Applicants should have completed a 3-year degree from a recognized university in the respective stream. Those who hold a 3-year degree with English as a subject are also eligible.

Diploma Apprentice:
Candidates must have completed a 3-year Diploma in a relevant branch from a recognized institution or university.

Technician (Non-Technical Diploma Apprentice):
Applicants should possess a General Nursing Midwifery diploma or a 2-year Diploma in MOM & SP from any recognized board or university.

Salary Details

Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend as per the prescribed rules or as revised by BOAT, Kanpur.

• Duration of Apprenticeship Training: One year only.
• Selected candidates will be required to execute a contract for the period of training under the Apprentices Act.
• Upon completion of the apprenticeship training, the contract will automatically terminate, and there will be no obligation on HAL to offer employment thereafter.

Selection Process

The selection for engagement of apprentices will be done on a 100% merit basis, considering the aggregate marks obtained in the qualifying Engineering / General Stream Graduate / Technical Diploma / Diploma in MOM & SP Examination.

• Reservation will be applied as per the Apprentices Act, 1961.

• The list of provisionally selected candidates will also be displayed on the same platforms.

How to Apply

1. Applicants must first register on the NATS portal at (Link mention in footer) to obtain a registration number.
2. Candidates must indicate this registration number in the Google Application Form.
3. The Google Application Form must be filled carefully — incomplete or incorrectly filled forms will be rejected.
4. Dependents (children or spouse) of serving, retired, or deceased HAL employees should attach details of the employee, duly certified by the concerned HR Officer, in the attached format within the application.
5. Applications submitted in any mode other than the Google Application Form will not be accepted.
6. The deadline for submitting the application form is 31 October 2025. Forms received after this date will not be considered.
7. Candidates who have already completed, resigned from, or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act are not eligible to apply.
