Educational Qualifications:

  1. B.Sc (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council-recognized Institute or University, OR
  2. B.Sc. (Post-Certificate) / Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council-recognized Institute or University.
    • The candidate must be registered as Nurse and Midwife with the State/Indian Nursing Council.
      OR
  3. Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) from an Indian Nursing Council-recognized Institute/Board/Council.
    • Must be registered as Nurse and Midwife in the State/Indian Nursing Council.
    • Additionally, candidates should possess two years of work experience in a hospital with a minimum of 50 beds after acquiring the qualification.

Selection Process

The DRRMLIMS Nursing Officer Selection Process will consist of two stages:

1. Screening Examination

  • This exam will serve as a qualifying test for appearing in the Main Examination.
  • Marks obtained in the Screening Exam will not be counted for final selection.
  • Candidates who secure the minimum qualifying marks category-wise will be shortlisted for the Main Examination, up to 10 times the number of vacancies in each category.

2. Main Examination

  • The final selection will be made purely based on marks obtained in the Main Examination.
  • Selection will be made category-wise, following merit and reservation norms.

  • The syllabus for both Screening and Main Examinations will remain the same.
  • The Final Merit List will be prepared based solely on the Main Exam marks, separately for each category (UR, OBC, SC, ST, EWS, PwBD, etc.).

  • For reserved categories, the merit list will be prepared separately within each category.
