Educational Qualification & Eligibility

Stenographer (Higher Grade):

Must hold a University Degree.
Should have at least 5 years of service as a Lower Grade Stenographer in the High Court or any other Court, Tribunal, or office of the Advocate General or Government Pleader.
Must possess a Government Commercial Certificate Examination or GCC-TBC/ITI qualification with a speed of 100 w.p.m. in English Shorthand and 40 w.p.m. in English Typing.
Must have a Computer Proficiency Certificate in the operation of Word Processor in Windows & Linux, along with proficiency in MS Office, MS Word, Wordstar7, or OpenOffice.Org from recognized institutes.

Stenographer (Lower Grade):

Must hold a University Degree and have at least 3 years of experience as a Stenographer.
Candidates with a Degree in Law will be given preference.
Should have passed the Government Commercial Certificate Examination or GCC-TBC/ITI qualification with a speed of 80 w.p.m. in English Shorthand and 40 w.p.m. in English Typing.
Must have a Computer Proficiency Certificate as stated above.
